CCF's Coweta Together Education Grant

CCF will offer education grants to all Coweta County educators starting on November 1, 2024, which can be used for your classroom, school, and even clubs!

  • Contest starts and runs from Sunday, September 1, through Sunday, September 15, 2024.
  • Applications must be submitted before the giveaway closes at 11.59 PM EST Sunday, September 15, 2024, to be considered.
  • To apply, Teachers must be currently working in Coweta County and must submit their application on our submissions page.
  • Three winners will be selected and awarded a $150 gift card each for their creative project.
  • We’ll notify the winners by email or phone call by September 25, 2024, and deliver the gift cards by the end of September, 2024.
  • Winners will be announced on our website and social media platforms.

The Mockingbird Foundation provides grants to schools and nonprofit organizations that focus on music education for children. The Foundation is particularly interested in projects that foster creative expression in all musical forms, and encourages applications associated with diverse or unusual musical styles, genres, forms, and philosophies. Music education may include the provision of instruments, equipment, texts, and office materials, as well as the support of learning space, performance space, and instruction. The Foundation generally targets programs for children up to 18 years of age, but will consider programs that benefit college students, teachers, or adult students.
The Foundation gives priority to programs that benefit disenfranchised groups, including those:

  • with low skill levels, income, or education;
  • with disabilities or terminal illnesses; and
  • in foster homes, hospitals, prisons, or other remote or isolated situations.

Grants range from $100 to $10,000. Initial inquiries are due Jan. 15, 2025. Application guidelines are available on the Foundation's website.

Deadline Varies based on grade level

Toshiba America Foundation funds innovative STEM projects designed by teachers for use in their own schools and classrooms. ​​Teachers at public and nonprofit private schools throughout the United States are eligible to apply. The application deadline for grade K-5 applications (up to $1,000) is Oct. 1, annually. Application deadlines for grades 6-12 for grants of up to $5,000 are Sept. 1, and Dec. 1, annually. The deadline for grade 6-12 grant requests of more than $5,000 is Nov. 1.
